We all came together again to offer out 2nd Farm-to-Table Wine Pairing Dinner. The evening began with a delicious canape in the garden and a glass of Rose. Then the diners learned about where all of the vegetables for the meal were grown with a farm tour through our gardens. We were very fortunate to pair with Road 13 Winery. Each guest got to try 5 of their wines and they were carefully chosen to match each course. The whole event was put on by the Stowel Lake Farm Community and it was a big community effort! We set up the Barn, made the bouquets from the farm, harvested the vegetables, served the wine, cleared the plates, cooked the food (well actually the amazing Haidee Hart did that!) and cleaned up after – TOGETHER! This is what you call a very big community effort. It was a wonderful event and felt very fulfilling to be a part of this food movement.
